Brandon Sanderson happens to be my favorite author, partly because I feel like his world-building is so insightful. An integral theme of the series that begins with The Way of Kings is condensed into the phrase, “Life before death. Strength before weakness. Journey before destination.” I love how meaningful those simple lines can be in our lives!
