I think that the smell of rain is one of my top 10 favorite smells in the whole world, and I’ll bet I’m not the only one. That’s what inspired today’s list of rainy day digital papers!
Did you know that there’s a name for that smell? It’s called petrichor. Kind of a blah name for such a wonderful smell in my opinion.
I love that there are so many different moods to rain. Sometimes rain comes in a tempest of of wind and leaves. Other times it falls in a furious downpour that seems to wash the world clean in a matter of minutes. Yet other times it comes in a mist so light you can barely tell it’s even there. Sometimes rain seems angry, sometimes it feels sad and melancholy, while other times it feels playful. I love rain!
In my neck of the woods, rain is a blessing that we’ll take no matter what form it comes in. The first day of spring is just around the corner, and rain is beginning to replace the snow. Some will miss the snow, but not me! It’s pretty while it’s falling, but then it just turns into mucky ice. Not my favorite. Give me rain any day!
With these digital papers you’ll get more of the playful kind of rain than the serious blustery kind, but I’m not complaining. They’re just too cute!
