SVG Saturday! American Flag SVG

Happy (almost) Independence Day to all you Americans out there! Help me celebrate with some pretty awesome American Flag SVGs!

Especially given the turmoil in the world as I write this post, I am so grateful for a free country in which to raise my children, safe from tyranny, war, famine and so much more. I’ve always been a fairly patriotic person, and I’m given more reasons to love my country every day.

Granted, there are plenty of things that we need to work on.

One thing I wish we could regain here in America is respect. I am deeply concerned by the disgust I see toward the “other side” across the news and social media, from all political viewpoints and social strata. Yes, at some point in our lives, someone is going to disagree with us. But does that make them a terrible person? No. Might they even be just a tiny bit *gasp* right? Probably!

But that’s the beauty of America. We’re a huge group of incredibly unique people! I just wish that we could show a little bit more brotherly love sometimes.

Just a note on how to display the American flag vertically. The stars should always be in the upper left corner. So, if you take a straight American flag, it is not enough to simply rotate the flag clockwise 90 degrees. You must also flip it over.

A couple of the flags on this page are displayed incorrectly. If you don’t care, then now you know. If you don’t, then I doubt anyone will notice or care either.
