My husband is a huge fan of camping, thus the inspiration for this week’s campfire SVG!
When we went camping last fall, though, we couldn’t have a campfire because the conditions were too dry and there was a high risk of wildfires. Isn’t that so sad?
The silver lining was that because the area was so dry, the local pond had dried up and there weren’t hoards of mosquitos like there usually were in that area. Score!
So, instead of a campfire, we had to use a big ol’ propane lantern. It was different, for sure. The lantern as warm on a cool early autumn evening, but there’s just something special about a campfire that you can’t get with a hot lantern. The smell of the fire, the pop of the wood burning, watching the smoke drift into the air. It’s a magical experience.
And so, I hope these campfire SVGs spark a little bit of nostalgia for you, and help make your camping season that much better!
