Have you ever wondered, if a restaurant were to name something after you, what
would it be? This question inspired this week’s Sandwich SVG highlight!
For me, I would want that menu item to be a sandwich. I don’t know which kind, but definitely some kind of sandwich. Maybe a leftover turkey dinner sandwich? Mmmmm, turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing and gravy, all on a fluffy roll. Yes please!
On the other hand, cheeseburgers are just about my favorite food of all time. It doesn’t really matter if they’re home made, from a cheap fast food restaurant, or somewhere in between. I love them all!
But I won’t limit myself to just cheeseburgers! The nostalgia of peanut butter and jelly is real! And my dad makes the best grilled cheese sandwiches I’ve ever had.
Just go ahead and give me all the sandwiches already. Philly cheesesteak! Turkey on sourdough! Mushroom and swiss! Tomato pesto panini! Spicy fried chicken sandwich! I’m drooling just thinking about it all…
Being a mom of little kids, I make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches on the regular. Lately though, my kids have preferred peanut butter and honey, which I also love!
