I loooove a good Christmas tree ornament. Especially unique ones.

Every year our family puts up our Christmas tree in stages. First, we put up just the tree. We turn on the white lights and just enjoy the simple beauty of the tree. It’s a special time that I always look forward to!
Inevitably, the kids beg us to put on the ornaments. That’s their favorite part! T and I put them off for a few days until the next Sunday, partly because it’s a great Sunday activity, and partly just to build the suspense. 😉
T sits on the couch and doles out the ornaments to the rest of us. Rose and Lizzie put ornaments on the bottom of the tree, while I take care of the top and fill in the gaps.
With little Sarah thrown into the mix, I’m still not sure what we’re going to do about ornaments this year. That curious kiddo is probably going to pull the tree over trying to get all the ornaments off!
Any suggestions for how to distract a one year old from the tree?
