This post about cats and books SVGs is inspired by my own not-so-little bookworm and her newest obsession: the cat that recently adopted us.
Somehow, between school, life, and everything else, she has read over 130,000 pages in her class reading challenge this year. Her goal is 200,000 pages before the school year ends, and knowing her, she just might do it. Books are stacked everywhere — by her bed, in the living room, tucked into bags “just in case.” And now, more often than not, there’s a cat curled up nearby whenever she will deign to be petted.
So it’s no surprise that cats and books SVG designs are my girl’s favorite thing right now. Cozy reading nooks, sleepy cats perched on tall book stacks, simple line art of a reader with a feline companion — they feel like her in design form. Quiet. Homey. Content.
These SVGs are perfect for any cat-loving homebody. They’re ideal for tote bags for library trips, cozy sweatshirts, bookmarks, or wall art in a reading corner. There’s something universally comforting about the combination of a good book and a cat who insists on being part of the experience.
For us, it’s more than a trend — it’s a snapshot of this season. Big reading goals, soft paws on the pages, and a girl who has fully embraced both.
