I’ll be the first to admit, I am absolutely terrible at matching fonts together, which is one of many reasons why I love these playful font duos so much!
I loooove collecting fonts. Each of them is incredibly unique, and there is always a perfect font for whatever project you’re doing! But what if you want to add a little more interest to your project? Combining two different fonts is the perfect way to make your project really stand out! You can emphasize certain words and phrases, or just plain jazz things up!
But how to you know which fonts look good with which fonts? Beats me. But luckily for me, there are font duos. These fonts are both gorgeous and perfectly coordinated! For this post I’ve picked fonts of the fun variety. I have another post completely dedicated to elegant signature font duos, if that’s more up your alley.
But here? Unique and playful are the goal! You’ll also not find very many modern calligraphy/sans serif font duos. Those are nice, but I’m getting just a little bored of them right now. I feel like I just just said something blasphemous…
Anyway, I hope you love these fun fonts as much as I do!

Now for my favorite playful font duos!

Aren’t these so cute? My kids would particularly love the Mermaid and the Observatory font duos. Just like your average little girls, they love all things mermaids, and my oldest particularly loves outer space!
