I love a good font. I collect them to a fault. They are just so much fun to play with!
In honor of my brother in law’s upcoming marriage, I decided to make a huge list of free wedding fonts for all things DIY!
One of the great things about this list of fonts is that many of them have a commercial license included! Yay! As always, though, make sure to check the license before use.
If you’re looking for free wedding fonts, I bet you’re looking for other free things, too! For resources like free wedding invitation templates and checklists, find it here. For free wedding SVGs, look here!
Ok, y’all. This list got long. And I mean realllly long. So I’ve included a handy table of contents and a “jump to top” button to help you navigate a little more easily.
I hope you enjoy!

While all of the links in this post are to absolutely free resources, some of them are affiliate links. If you happen to make a purchase after clicking through a link, I may receive a small commission at no extra cost to you. Thanks for supporting my blog!
Free Wedding Fonts – Script
I’m going to differentiate script fonts from handwriting fonts here, and it’s going to be totally subjective.
My criteria is how precise the writing is. Handwritten will be more bouncy and modern calligraphic, or even just downright handwriting, while I’ll call script more uniform and more like typeface.
It really doesn’t mean anything. I just needed a way to break up so many gorgeous fonts!

Free Wedding Fonts – Serif
One of the things I love about serif fonts is that they often come in font families! Aw, how cute.
That way you get four or more fonts for the price of, well, nothing. because they’re still free. But it still feels like you’re getting a great deal!
And it lets you coordinate fonts with zero effort on your part. Score!

I can definitely see this font on a blackboard background!
Free Wedding Fonts – Sans Serif

Okay, so this says it’s a food font, and it’s even got cute little food icons! But I think it would make for a great minimalist invitation, too.

Free Wedding Fonts – Font Duos
I love a good font duo! If you’ve ever wondered which fonts look good together, you don’t have to worry with these handy sets!

This one is a twofer! And they’re both so cute!

I hope you’ve loved these fonts as much as I do! And would you believe that these are just my favorites? They’re just the tip of the iceberg.
Happy fonting!
